Management

The Supervisory Board of the Financial Supervision Authority prepares the activities of the Financial Supervision Authority and oversees its management. The Board has six members, two of whom – the Minister of Finance and the Governor of the Bank of Estonia are members by position. The Chairman of the Council is the Minister of Finance by position.

A four-member Management Board manages the daily work of the Financial Supervision Authority which as a collective management body passes resolutions on the basis of a majority of votes. Each member of the Management Board has his areas of responsibility, and structural units and/or positions in the respective areas of responsibility are directly subordinated to him.

Today, the Financial Supervision Authority employs 69 people, six of whom are on a maternity leave.
