Activity licence of investment firm
Activity licences of investment firms shall be issued and revoked by the Financial Supervision Authority. Activity licences shall be issued for an unspecified term, they are not transferable, and the acquisition or use thereof by other persons is prohibited.
An activity licence shall be issued individually for the provision of some investment services or collectively for the provision of all investment services. An investment firm may provide only those investment services for which it has been issued an activity licence. In order to provide other investment services, the investment firm has to apply for an additional activity licence.
In order to apply for an activity licence, a corresponding request, including a written application and annexes specified in the Securities Market Act shall be submitted to the Financial Supervision Authority.
