Finantsinspektsioon will have a new Supervisory Board member from January

The Eesti Pank Supervisory Board appointed Deputy Governor of Eesti Pank Andrus Alber as the new member of the Supervisory Board of Finantsinspektsioon at the proposal of Governor of Eesti Pank Ülo Kaasik. His three-year term of office will begin on 1 January 2027. The term of office of the current member of the Finantsinspektsioon Supervisory Board Veiko Tali will end on 31 December 2026.

The Supervisory Board of Finantsinspektsioon has six members by law, among whom the Minister of Finance and the Governor of Eesti Pank are members by virtue of office. The government appoints a further two members at the proposal of the Minister of Finance, and the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank appoints two at the proposal of the Governor of the bank.
