Finantsinspektsioon hosted a visit from Fiva, the Finnish financial supervisor, on 31 January 2025. Visiting from Finland were chair of the board Tero Kurenmaa and management board members Jyri Helenius and Samu Kurri.
The meeting discussed the financial markets in Finland and Estonia, the supervisory priorities for 2025, AML risks, and expectations for AMLA. The two institutions shared their experience of procedures for issuing licences, including their preparations for the new European Union regulation on crypto assets MiCAR.
