School pupils debated the future of cash and financial fraud

Eesti Pank, Finantsinspektsioon and the debating society Eesti Väitlusselts organised a debating event on 25 September in the Eesti Pank Museum for young people to debate how certain the future of cash is and whether it should be made harder to use financial services in order to tackle financial fraud.

Finantsinspektsioon issued a licence to operate as a debt collection agency to Heimondo Estonia OÜ on 8 September. The debt collection licence will give Heimondo Estonia OÜ the right to call in debts arising from the credit contracts of banks and creditors.

The Tallinn Administrative Court granted Ühisarveldused AS temporary preliminary legal protection

The Tallinn Administrative Court today issued a preliminary injunction approving the application by Ühisarveldused AS (register code 14192799) for temporary legal protection that suspended until 22 September the decision taken by Finantsinspektsioon on 18 August to withdraw the licence from Ühisarveldused AS.

On 11 August, Finantsinspektsioon withdrew from Kemotex Finance OÜ the operating licence as a creditor and mortgage creditor, which was issued on 3 April 2017. The licence was withdrawn following an application from the company itself.
