The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway has issued a market warning regarding a fraudulent website and the misuse of a "Letter of Compliance" purportedly issued by Finanstilsynet.
Finanstilsynet has received information about a fraudulent website, https://sector-fusion.com, which markets and offers investment services. This website uses unauthorized references to Sector Capital AS’s licenses from Finanstilsynet as well as the organization number of Sector Asset Management AS. Sector-Fusion is not affiliated with Sector Capital AS, Sector Asset Management AS, or the Sector Asset Management group.
There have also been reports of misuse of a "Letter of Compliance" issued by Finanstilsynet. The letter refers to Sector Capital AS and its licenses. The letter is a forgery and not a confirmation that Sector-Fusion.com has approvals from Finanstilsynet.
