The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) warns against investment offers by Liberty Assets
Finanstilsynet has been informed that Liberty Assets has approached investors offering investment services. The company offers services from the website liberty-assets.com
Finanstilsynet states that the company's website incorrectly claims that they have a license from Finanstilsynet to provide investment services. Finanstilsynet wishes to make it clear that Liberty Assets is not authorised to provide investment services in Norway, and therefor lacks the license required under Norewegian law. The company is consequently not subject to Finanstilsynet's supervisory oversight, nor has Finanstilsynet approved the services offered by the company. Finanstilsynet therefore recommends investors not to enter into agreements with or transfer assets to Liberty Assets.
